Our Team

Kelly Wright, Director

Kelly is the director of the Imagination Library of Johnson County. She brings with her a passion for early childhood literacy and more than 20 years of experience in project management, operations, communications, strategic thinking, and technological innovation.

Our Board

Susan Crisafulli, President

Susan is an English professor at Franklin College.  She also serves on the board of the Franklin Education Connection, and she is a Girl Scout leader for a troop of high-school girls.

Liz Cooper, Vice President

Liz recently retired from a 38-year career in sales and marketing in the senior living industry. She resides in Greenwood and serves on two nonprofit boards in Johnson County.

Ryan Hammer, Treasurer

Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and works for Cummins Inc. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Franklin College in 2015 while majoring in Accounting, Finance, and Business Management. He is also the head men’s tennis coach at Franklin College.

Abby McElwain, Secretary

Abby is a sales and marketing professional at Latitude Retirement, residing in Franklin with her husband. Their two children are currently students at IU Bloomington. Her love of reading and commitment to childhood literacy inspired her involvement with the Imagination Library.  

Chelsea Berkery

Chelsea serves as the Senior Marketing Strategist at Dittoe PR, a nationally recognized public relations and social media agency based in Broad Ripple. She graduated from Franklin College in 2016, and currently lives in Bargersville. Chelsea and her husband have two little kiddos who love to read. She loves adventure and traveling with her family.

Bronwen Carlisle

Bronwen is the programs and special projects manager at Indiana Humanities, where she oversees literary programs including the Indiana Authors Awards. She holds master’s degrees in English literature and library science from IU Bloomington and lives with her husband and sons in historic downtown Franklin.

George Chimples

George is the Director of Development and Film at Franklin Heritage, where he has worked for the past eight years. He lives in Greenwood with his spouse and two children, where he enjoys reading, movies, and cooking.

Steve Corbin

Steve is the Media Specialist of Southwest Elementary in Greenwood. He lives in Greenwood with his wife and all of the wildlife that call their backyard home.

Stacie Drane

Stacie is a mother of two ILJC graduates with  a huge passion for early childhood literacy. She graduated from Franklin College with degrees in studio painting and art history. Stacie lives in Nineveh with her family.

Emily Marten

Emily is a Project Manager at Franklin College.  Emily also serves St. Rose of Lima Church on their Parish Council.  Her passion for reading and writing led her to be a part of the Imagination Library.

Priyam Patel

Priyam is a kindergarten teacher. She has a bachelor’s in education from Franklin College. She is passionate about helping children develop not just reading skills, but a lifelong love for books.

Cara Wagner

Cara founded Miss Cara Photography while pursuing her bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship at the University of Indianapolis. After a decade-long career in marketing and public relations, she now operates three unique businesses. Cara, her husband, two children, and rescue pup are enjoying life on their hobby farm in Franklin.
