Sponsorship Opportunities
Because of our donors and Storybook Breakfast sponsors, our free book program is growing in leaps and bounds. The Johnson County affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library began in 2017. In 2022, the Imagination Library of Johnson County was able to expand its program to ALL zip codes in Johnson County. We have gone from only 300 children when we started to now almost 5,000 children enrolled, plus more than 4,400 “graduates” from our program! How excited and thankful we are for our donors and sponsors!
While we have accomplished a lot in the past 8 years, we have only about half of the approximately 10,000 age-eligible children in Johnson County enrolled in our program. Our goal is to exceed 65% enrollment of current age-eligible children. We hope you’ll consider helping us by sponsoring our 2026 Storybook Breakfast. The Imagination Library of Johnson County hosted its 3rd annual Storybook Breakfast in November 2024. Over 200 people attended one of our two breakfasts featuring storybook characters. Attendees reported, “We hope to make this a yearly tradition” and “It was an amazing time for the whole family and the kids are still talking about it!”

Sponsorships help offset the costs of our celebratory annual event and help us keep ticket prices as low as possible, allowing families of all incomes to attend. In addition, although our program is free for families, we pay $16 per child per year to cover the book costs, so we are able to use our sponsorships to send books to the steadily increasing number of children enrolled in the program.
